Polypropylene Fibers effectively seal formation fractures and bond with the cement to increase mechanical properties (tensile strength, flexural modulus and stabilization). All while having minimal to no effect on the flow properties of the cement slurry. PP fibers have a significant effect on reducing the porosity and the permeability of the base cement.
