Xeolith® Lithium Silicate (LS 450) and Hybrid Potassium Lithium Silicate systems (LS 250) are used as concrete densifiers. Xeolith® Lithium Silicates are non-film forming, deeply penetrating sealers that block concrete capillaries and react with concrete to form a smooth or gloss finish.

Bisley Colloidal Silica is available in a multitude of solids %, pH and other controllable variables offering flexibility to the user creating dust free, highly impermeable systems as well as enhanced coefficient of friction. Fast reacting nano particles penetrate into concrete floors reducing permeability without discoloring, causing efflorescence or inducing ASR. Compatible with low lime decorative overlay products, and self-levelling flooring offering improved abrasion resistance, color vibrancy, durability and sheen.

Fumed silica, also known as pyrogenic silica, is a high purity, white colloidal powder. It provides anti-settling, anti-sagging and thixotropy properties to paints and coatings. Potassium Methylsiliconate is a waterproofing agent added to paints, coatings and surface treatments. It is ideal for use as a water repellent on masonry surfaces. Bisley supplies both 40% and 50% solutions.

Triethoxyoctylsilane also known as n-octyltriethoxysilane is an alkyl silane used as a waterproofing agent in paints, coatings and surface treatments. It is ideal for use as a water repellent on masonry and concrete surfaces. Bisley supplies a high purity 97% solution.

Silane-560 is an epoxy functional silane coupling agent composed of Gamma-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane. Silane-560 is used to improve adhesion, strength and water repellency of glass-reinforced and mineral-filled thermosetting and thermoplastic coatings. Silane-570 is a silane coupling agent composed of Gamma-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. Silane-570 is used to improve adhesion, strength and water repellency of glass-reinforced and mineral-filled thermosetting coatings. It is suitable for acrylic, polyester and polyurethane resins. Biscryl Binders are a range composed of high-quality pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, vinyl acrylic, vinyl acetate polymer emulsions. Grades available suitable for a range of applications including interior and exterior paints, textured coatings, putties, elastomeric coatings, wood and metal specific coatings, cement modification, sealant caulks and adhesives. Chlorinated Rubber can be mixed with solvents, resins and plasticizers to form a paint. The resultant paint is water, chemical, corrosion and fouling resistant. Bisley supplies chlorinated rubber in a variety of grades.

APP-II is a halogen free fire retardant used in a variety of water and solvent based paints and coatings. At temperatures above 300 °C APP-II decomposes to polyphosphoric acid which dehydrates polyols, carbohydrates and other ROH and RNH containing substances. Subsequently, the generated char is expanded by water and ammonia to form a foamed up solid heat protective barrier.

Chlorinated Paraffins are used as an additive that increases the hardness, brilliancy, water resistance and chemical resistance of paints, coatings and sealants. It is most suitable for marine paints, industrial flooring and swimming pools. Highly chlorinated paraffins have flame retardant properties. Chlorinated Paraffins are highly compatible with chlorinated polyethylene and chlorinated rubber. Bisley supplies a variety of grades.

DBDPE is a broad-spectrum flame retardant. It is non-toxic and non-corrosive. It has good thermal stability and UV resistance.

Thermally Expandable Graphite is a chemically treated graphite that is used as an intumescent flame retardant in rubbers, resins and paints, including epoxy. Bisley supplies various grades.

Alumina trihydrate, also known as aluminium hydroxide and hydrated alumina, is an easily dispersible functional filler and titanium dioxide extender. It is a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. It is suitable for a variety of paints and coatings. Bisley supplies grades with varying particle size.

Sensowhite is a high purity surface treated jet-milled barium sulfate that is an easily dispersible functional filler and titanium dioxide extender. It is suitable for primers, powder coatings, gel coats, plastics, inks. It is used in chemical resistant flooring, automotive and tank linings. Bisley supplies grades with varying particle size.

Titanium dioxide is used as a white pigment or an opacifier in a variety of products including drymixes, plastics, paints and coatings. The addition of titanium dioxide results in excellent durability, UV resistance, whiteness, tint strength and gloss. Bisley offers titanium dioxide of a very high purity and quality.

Zinc Oxide is used as a white pigment and UV absorber in a variety of coatings including oil-based and water-based coatings. Zinc Oxide is used as a ceramic glaze and glass colorant. It is also a component of smoke suppressant formulations. Bisley supplies a very high purity and fine particle size Zinc Oxide.

Bisley Phosphonate Dispersant & Plasticizer is an aqueous solution composed of phosphonate salts. It is used as a dispersant for coatings containing mineral fillers to counteract agglomeration.

Bisley Dimer Acids are a range of bio-based hydrogenated, distilled dimers with high purity. It is used in epoxy, polyurethane, polyester and polyamide coatings for automotive, marine, protective and industrial applications.

Calcium Stearate is used as a flatting agent in paints and coatings. Calcium stearate is available as a powder or as a 50% dispersion.

Dibasic esters are liquids composed of a mixture of dicarboxylic acids. Dibasic esters are excellent coating agents for metal surfaces. They are excellent striping agents for paints. Dibasic esters are non-flammable, readily biodegradable, non-corrosive and has excellent solvency. Bisley supplies DBE 5 and other grades are available upon request.

Epoxidized Soybean Oil, also known as ESBO, is used as a pigment dispersing agent in paints and coatings.

HEC is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer made from natural cellulose. It is used as a thickener and rheology modifier in paints and coatings. Bisley supplies HEC and other cellulose ethers with a range of properties.

Silicone oil, also known as polydimethylsiloxane and dimethicone, is used as a wetting agent and anti-foam agent in paints and coatings. Bisley supplies silicone oil with a range of viscosities and properties.

Tributyl Phosphate (TBP) is a colorless to light yellow liquid. It is used as a solvent and antifoaming agent in a variety of paints, inks and adhesives. Bisley supplies a wide variety of phosphates.

Titanates are compounds that consist of titanium oxides/titanium anions. Organo titanates can be used as an adhesion promoter and crosslinker in hydroxylic resins and corrosion resistant coatings, including silicone sealants and inks. It can be used as a coupling agent for fillers and fibers, and as a catalyst for PE systems and acrylates. Can be used to impart thixotropy to water-based emulsion paints in conjunction with cellulosic thickeners.
